Who we are
EP Industrial Psychological Services (Pvt) Ltd, trading as EPZ Global, of Agriculture House, 1 Adylinn Road, Marlborough, Harare, Zimbabwe. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at consultant@epzglobal.com.
What we collect, and why
- Your application. Name, contact details, employment history, qualifications and your CV, so that we can consider you for a role.
- Identity details. Date of birth and national identity number where a client requires identity or qualification verification for a role.
- Assessment results. Your answers and scores from any psychometric assessment you sit with us, and the report written from them.
- Contact you start. What you send us by email, WhatsApp or telephone.
The CV you upload
When you upload a CV we read the text from it, including reading a scan or a photograph with optical character recognition. That text is stored on your account so that you can apply without retyping it, and it is sent to a client only when you choose to apply for one of their roles. If you never finish signing in, the upload is discarded.
Who sees it
Your assessment results are seen by the consultants and psychologists working on your case, and by the client organisation you applied to, in the form of a report. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to any other employer without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Applications and CVs are kept for two years from your last contact with us, so that we can come back to you when a suitable role appears. Assessment results are kept for five years, which is the period over which a result remains professionally meaningful. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to us holding it. Write to consultant@epzglobal.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, which is the Data Protection Authority under the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].
Security
Your information is held on access controlled systems, and only the people who need it to do their work can reach it. Assessment materials and results are treated as confidential professional records.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we will tell you.
